The Corner Suite

Suprisingly, this restaurant is situated on a corner, the corner of Thurlow and Haro in Vancouver BC.  The Cocktail list will take you approximately 15 minutes to peruse in total silence.  If you’re engaging in conversation, allow 30 mins!!  They are listed alphabetically by name which I found tricky.  I think it would be better to list them by base alcoholic content.  However, you will not be disappointed with whatever you order, the drinks are amazing.  They also have a guest list of cocktails that are devised by some of the most prominent “shakers” in Canada.
The food and wine lives up to the standard set by the apperitifs, truly outstanding.
We found the staff and our waitress in particluar to be very knowledgable and totally willing to make sensible suggestions given our guidelines.
The four of us went the full hog and had cocktails, starters, mains, dessert and two bottles of quality wine.  It wasn’t cheap at around $300 per couple but it was an evening to remember.
